Airplanes! and America!

This week’s League of Extraordinary Bloggers topic is to write about something that makes us feel patriotic.  After thinking through my favorite patriotic movies I realized that a good number of them were focused in some way around airplanes. So I took a step away from my favorite movies that make me put my hand over my heart (Rocky IV, D2: The Mighty Ducks) to think of my favorite airplane movies that kick some serious ass for America.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

I’ve continued my Star Trek Maiden Voyage to watch the Star Trek movies for the first time.  After watching Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan I can understand how it was a welcome change from TMP.

Star Trek has been severely absent from my life.  Up until last night I hadn’t seen ANY of the original Star Trek movies.  My knowledge of Star Trek has come by osmosis through pop culture and 2009’s Star Trek.
